The 2023 DTUC Reunion on May 19 and 20 was a great success!

Seventy-five folks registered, some from as far away as Costa Rica, the southern US and Ontario. The Friday and Saturday evening social sessions, and Saturday day programming open to the public (panels in the morning, author group reading in the afternoon) were enjoyed by all.

A major focus of attention was Jeremy Addington’s photo display of people affected by DTUC’s closure, together with their families—the first time since 1984 the exhibit had been shown in full. The art show was also a big draw.

The Nelson Star gave us good coverage, with a column by DTUC alumni and panelist Donna Macdonald, incorporating several Reunion photos, and an online feature by attendee Bill Metcalfe. Check out the GALLERY for other photos of the event.
